Q. - Will I have private transport?
A. - Indeed! We specialize in personalized attention. This means you won’t have to share transport, unless you specifically request to do so. You will also have a personal guide to accompany you during the entire trip. Having your own transport, driver and guide will give you a huge amount of flexibility and you will be able to change certain plans with short notice if you so desire to, even if you are already in Ecuador!

Q. – Can we travel in a large group?
A. – We often get charters and/or families that like to travel together. We do specialize in tailor-made experiences and this in no way means that you cannot get customized experiences and personalized attention if you are traveling with a group. We can take care of your group’s needs as well. Your group will have its own transport and guide, just as if you were traveling by yourself or as a couple. We do not have a minimum or a maximum limit with numbers of guests, although we do recommend that you travel in groups of 16 or less. Traveling in a smaller group will allow for higher flexibility as well as a better chance at obtaining reservations at certain hotels, restaurants and/or Galapagos cruises, and will allow us to give you more personalized attention.

Q. – What if I am traveling alone?

A. – No problem. We will, as always, help you create the perfect tailor-made experience for you in which we can include different ways to travel, including some options for sharing accommodations that will help you reduce your costs.

Q. – Do you have certain difficulty levels for activities?
A. – Due to the incredible range of options to choose from in our destinations menu, every experience that is created for you, or by you, can within itself also contain a range of difficulty levels. During our very personalized consult, we will inform you of difficulty levels that apply to activities and experiences and work with you to make sure you are comfortable with any and all experiences you choose to do.

Q. – Do you have a range in levels of comfort?
A. – Although our service and personalized attention is of the highest standards that can be provided in Ecuador, we do work with different comfort levels in terms of accommodations, yachts, and transport. We have scoured Ecuador to assure that you have a wide-range in the selection of hotels and haciendas that have very high standards in comfort, service and quality.

The yachts that we offer in the Galapagos Islands do have a marked range in comfort levels.  Cruising in the Galapagos remains an adventure-oriented experience, especially on the smaller boats (16 passenger). Some yachts have more social space than others, and some have more cabin space as well. Usually, the larger the boat, the more cabin space you will have, yet this will also mean that you will have more traveling companions as well. All of the yachts that we offer have some of the best bilingual guides in the Galapagos Islands regardless of boat size, and all are captained by very experienced crewmembers. Q. – Can I create a custom itinerary or reserve a private trip?
A. – Absolutely! This is what we specialize in. You can travel Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, and experience the Best of Peru your way. You set your travel dates, type of transfers, hotels, schedules, etc. We will advise you as to what we consider the best way to do an experience is, of course, to make sure you can maximize your trip in every way.

Q. – How do I create my own experience online?

A. – Easy! All you have to do is click on the small boxes or on the links that are located after each experience that we offer. As you click on these, they will automatically go to your Cart. You can check out your Cart  at anytime. You will not only find what experiences you have chosen, but you will also be able to edit them (delete an experience). You can then send us your choices and we will contact you within 48 hours with options, recommendations, and even a quote according to the sites and experiences that you have chosen!

Q. – Should I purchase travel insurance for my trip?

A. – The answer is yes. In fact, although we do offer accident / medical insurance as an added service, we require that all of our guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance before traveling to Ecuador and/or Peru. This insurance should not only have basic medical and accidental coverage, but should also cover repatriation, emergency air, ground, or marine transport, flight and trip delays, interruption and cancellations, baggage damage and/or loss, etc. The more coverage you can obtain, the better you will be protected, and the more relaxed you will be able to be during your trip.

Q. – I am ready to go! What do I need to bring?

A. – There are many important details that one needs to know before traveling to another country, and although “what to bring” is of utmost importance, there are many others that you should be familiar with as well.

Q. – I have special dietary needs, can you take care of this?

A. – One of the most exciting and wonderful things about traveling is being able to taste and enjoy local gastronomy. We are very familiar with the restaurants that we recommend throughout the country as well as in Peru so that your culinary experience will be up to expectations.

Most restaurants, hotels and haciendas in Ecuador are set up to take care of dietary requests including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. For other requests, such as kosher meals, there are a few limits, especially in the Galapagos Islands since there are strict allowances on what can and can’t be brought into the islands. We will try to accommodate your requests as best as we can, but we do ask that you please discuss this with us ahead of time.
